The laboratory at my duty base was extraordinary. I quickly realized that nearly everything I had learned in public school, on the television, radio, and in Church was, well how does one say it? Mostly different from what I was viewing within the government.
Within our lab, we had a Hewlett Packard Computer that was connected to many other computers around the country. Yes, it was the government’s first version of the Internet and we called it Lexis-Nexis. This system had no security measures controlling it as the computers you are accustom to today. In those days the only people who had access to the Internet had to have a government clearance or permission from the government in order to view or populate the information. I was one of those people.
One day I decided to enter the social security numbers of my parents and myself. I was utterly stunned by all the personal information that the government had collected on my family and me. I called my parents and even they did not know some of the information I had provided to them about their family member’s, and they were surprised to hear that the government had stored so much personal information concerning them. Nonetheless, upon verification one could not deny it.
While cruising the system from time to time, I would come across a lot of information, that at the time I believed it was just some guys on another base or somewhere, having a little fun and making stuff up, then putting it on the system / Internet, just to get a laugh or two. Extraterrestrial visitations, hidden time capsules from past cavitation’s unearthed, secret organizations, babies buried under Catholic Churches, secret space programs, rooms under the sphinx, and cities within the earth, is just barely scraping the surface. Make no mistake the information was unending, incredible, and in most cased totally out of this world.
Fast forward a few decades, and I had realized that much, well in my now truth, most all the information that I was privy to read was actually factual. As I stated prior, youth has its drawbacks.
Some of the information I viewed was surrounding the Bible and while looking back at this time upon my life, at that time, I can only say that it was spiritually meant for me to locate it. After marital challenges with my wife at that time, I was compelled to read the Bible from cover to cover, only to be left with more confusion than answers.
You see, as a child I attended Four Square Church in California. I was always very happy to get dressed up in my Sunday Suit and go to worship. The singing, other children to play with and food when we got at home made it an event to look forward too. However, one Sunday morning I got there early and found myself staring in the Chappell all by myself waiting for others to show up. As I waited, I found myself staring at the Stain Glass Window that portrayed a picture of the one we call Jesus created inside of it. Blue eyes, white skin, and long flowing light brown hair. All of a sudden, a very discomforting feeling came over me, so I left the church and basically never went back until I overcame my mindset of following another man with blind obedience.
The last 4 stories given in the previous chapter also have another common connection known as the law of comeback. The law of comeback is one of several universal laws that are actively governing our experience while we are upon the Earth. Its function within our lives is observed in accordance to this statement: “That which is likened to itself is drawn!”
You are bound by the conditions and effects of this universal law whether you are aware of it or not. You activate this law every time you speak, think or preform a deed, and you will reap the effects of your words, thoughts and actions after the passing of a little or a little longer time.
You may be acquainted with this law under another name like Karma which is the ancient Sanskrit word for “Comeback” or its new age term known as the Law of balance or Attraction. In either case, what you call it is not nearly as important, as your understanding of how it works within your lives. Let’s examine the actions of Corporal Smith and how he was bound by this law.
The Corporal was drafted into the military conflict between two governments, and he did not want to be there. He took no pride nor found any love in killing someone he had never met or had a negative encounter with. He prayed daily for his safety, and that of everyone involved in the war, and he prayed that the war would be over as quickly as possible, so that they could all get back to their respective lives, homes and families.
What better person for the infinite spirit “GOD” to use as the hand / tool needed to feed the children of the jungle? The corporal heard the call, not knowing that GOD was answering his prayers, and the prayers of the children at the same time.
Corporal Smith unknowingly was utilizing the law of Karma in all 3 ways, by his words, actions and deeds, thus he was rewarded with being medically discharged from the service. Yes, he was wounded, but it was a small price to pay for all of the life he took manning those big twin guns.
